Meet Rikke, one of our Digital Marketing Managers.
Rikke joined loveholidays in early 2019 to lead the digital marketing strategy within the Nordic region.
1. What is your favourite holiday destination and why?
"That’s a tough one - there are so many amazing places in the world.
"If I must pick just one, I guess it’ll have to be NYC (cliché, I know..).
"That city has, and will always have, a special place in my heart.
"I love the atmosphere, the different neighbourhoods and how they all offer something different and unique, all the amazing restaurants and of course the amazing shopping doesn’t hurt.
"I try to go at least once a year, and it holds some amazing memories for me."
2. Tell us what Digital Marketing means to you?
"Digital marketing is finding new, efficient and clever ways to reach your marketing objectives, engage and connect with your customers by using digital technology."
3. How do you achieve the above for loveholidays?
"By trying, failing, learning and succeeding.
"Sounds corny, but it’s impossible to always get it right the first time.
"Luckily, digital marketing doesn’t only provide us with endless opportunities.
"It also gives us the amazing ability to track customer behaviour and our marketing activities.
"Digital marketing is a challenging and ever-changing field, but it’s also very forgiving in the sense that very few things are set in stone and you can always go back and twist and tweak until you crack the code."
4. If you had to pick one thing you love about working at loveholidays, what would it be?
"I love the fast pace environment, that everything is very hands-on and that everyone is so passionate about what we’re doing.
"New ideas and perspectives are always welcome, and you’re granted a lot of trust, freedom and responsibility - and through that the ability to drive change.
