We’re looking for a tech lead or engineering manager to lead our new CRM team. This team is a new team we are creating this quarter, focused on growing our CRM function and building brand new services to enable better communication with our customers, and a longer term view on our relationship with them. This is a 60/40 managing + hands on role - we believe all tech leads should have some technical exposure to build great relationships with the engineers.

What you’ll be doing:

• Outlining the technical direction alongside our principal software engineers for how we want to build out the new CRM platform and scoping out third-party integrations we want to use

• Working with our career skills matrix and our engineering principles to ensure engineers are cared for at all levels

• Working with the Digital Product Team leadership to establish the vision of our tech and how we want to grow all our engineering teams

• Working closely with product and design to establish great and powerful working practices and relationships (we work in cross functional teams but there’s always room for improvement)

• You’ll also be getting your hands dirty from time to time and working on some really cool technical problems

• You’ll be hiring and building out a team of 4-6 engineers and working with our Head of CRM with a wider CRM team

We’re looking for people who are keen to deepen their management skills and also their tech skills, and expand even further in their engineering careers. Tech stacks are always subject to change, and we hope you can influence the future of Loveholidays.

Our teams work primarily with TypeScript, Preact and Node, but we employ many different languages across our teams and encourage engineers to work across the entire stack - from our Kubernetes infrastructure to our Rust edge platform.
