PPC Executive
About the role:
The PPC department sits within the Marketing Team and is a key growth channel for us, as travel recovers from the impact of Covid. Working closely with the in-house team, the PPC Executive will play a key role in delivering the Paid Search strategy, helping to drive continued success.
It’s a great position for someone with a talent and enthusiasm for Paid Search, who wants to develop their PPC knowledge as part of an experienced team. Our ideal candidate will have experience of working in an in-house team,who is analytically minded and a great communicator.

Knowledge, skills and experience required:
Essential:
A track record of strong performance, with experience and knowledge of all aspects of PPC
Experience managing multiple and/or complex PPC accounts
Good understanding of PPC tools such as Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Google Analytics.
Excellent verbal communication and ability to explain complex PPC subjects, in simple terms
Strong analytical and numerical skills, with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to think creatively and strategically to identify and resolve problems, whilst thriving in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret complex data
Good knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets
Desirable:
Experience using Google BigQuery, SQL, Google Scripts or Python/Javascript
Experience of managing multi-lingual/multi-national PPC accounts
Direct knowledge or experience in the travel sector
Experience managing activity across the Google Display Network, YouTube and Google Hotel Ads
Ability to speak additional languages
Key result areas:
Day-to-day monitoring and reporting of performance, progress towards targets, search visibility, team KPIs and ongoing optimisation for performance
Develop, implement and optimise Paid Search campaigns across Google and Microsoft, to achieve key business metrics
Provide recommendations and insights for improving account performance and pushing PPC best practices
Ability to carry out regular competitor analysis and draw insights, to help identify opportunities
Key involvement in the planning and direction of the overall PPC strategy and roadmap
Implement a ‘test, measure, learn’ approach to PPC to maximise performance and efficiency
Keeping up-to-date with changes and opportunities within the SEO ind
Working collaboratively with the wider Marketing team, as well as Data Science, Data Engineering, Holiday Product and Supply in order to continually improve performance
