Purpose of the role
delivery of robust and aligned management and financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders;
smoothly progressing the continuous improvement journey of the finance department; and
the financial data within the business is accurate, timely and reliable and that the business is operating within a robust control environment.
KEY RESULT AREAS
Financial Policies maintained and utilised within the team (and business where appropriate)
Key business cycles mapped, controls documented and gaps identified and mitigated - regular reviews performed to ensure these are up to date and relevant
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Overall responsibility for year end audit and interim audit process
Overall responsibility for monthly management accounts
Ethos and delivery of high standard of finished product, tailored to the audience, supported by robust data
Own Loveholidays’ Financial Control and Technical accounting Policies
Overall responsibility for all tax related matters (VAT/ Corporation Tax/ Transfer Pricing/ PAYE/ NI)
Overall responsibility for robust financial reporting processes and controls
Overall responsibility for monthly stakeholder reporting
Experience and attitude of continuous process improvement and experience with automation
Is a self-starter with clear and concise communication styles
Qualified accountant +8 years PQE
