About the role
The role of Customer Service Agent is very important at loveholidays because they are the voice of the company, providing support to customers before, during and after their holidays. We believe providing great customer service will ensure that customers come back time and time again for all their package holiday requirements.
We’re building a small team of Customer Service Agents who are bilingual in German and English to help support customers across multiple countries. You’ll ‘learn the ropes’ initially by supporting our UK and Irish customers, spending time in each major customer service function to gain experience ahead of supporting customers in other geographies.
We’re looking for people with excellent verbal and written communication in both languages, coupled with a desire to deliver great experiences for our customers and you’ll be provided with extensive training in all areas, making you a great all-round customer service member of the team.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Customer service experience – if it’s in travel that’s even better (but not a necessity)
Strong technical abilities – you’ll need to know your way around a laptop, using web-based applications for multiple hotel suppliers, airlines and our internal systems.
Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment – it’s travel, it changes!
Excellent verbal and written communication in English and German as well as organisational skills.
Exceptional active listening skills – we need people who are great at using empathy to put things right for our customers.
When working from home, employees need to ensure that they have an adequate broadband connection to utilise our software and telephone services and ultimately to provide a good service to our customers. We recommend a minimum spec of 4 Mbps download and 1 Mbps upload (cable modem, DSL or better) and at least 4GB of data per month.
We also need you to be able to have a quiet environment to work and may ask for proof of this during your interview process too.
