Dusseldorf (office-based for a minimum of 3 months, moving to hybrid in the future)
loveholidays is hiring in Dusseldorf – and we are looking for talented Customer Service professionals to join our team.
Our journey so far
Since 2012, loveholidays has been enabling customers to search for the right type of holiday, building on our mission to open the world to everyone. Every day, we process half a trillion hotel room and flight combinations into holiday packages, and attract over 4.5 million visitors to our site. We make a booking transaction every 11 seconds – and we’re only going to grow faster and go further in the future.
Your role
For the first 3 months at least, you’ll be in the office full-time because every customer interaction you have will be a learning experience for all of us. You will be a key part of helping set up our first internationally based, in-house Customer Service team. Working alongside a team of real specialists who are dedicated to delivering great service, you will bring the visible passion, energy and determination required to make every customer experience a delight.
As we grow, you’ll grow – into a true customer experience specialist. With world-class training, total support and a business with a true commitment to building a brand that people trust, you’ll quickly grow the skills to understand, improve and impact on every aspect of the customer journey.
About you
We’re looking for exceptional customer service professionals – you need driving ambition, a restless desire to go places in your career and proven experience of serving customers, in a digital set-up, where you’ve had to navigate different systems. You’ll be dealing with a range of different customer queries. Whether it's a flight being late, shuttle transport not arriving or a hotel being unexpectedly closed - no matter the challenge, you’ll be ready to help.
As the voice of our company, you must be able to communicate clearly in both written and spoken German, with fluent English as a second language. You must be able to listen, find information quickly, look after customers and find solutions.
Shift patterns
This is a start-up operation, so it comes with huge opportunities to develop your career and, alongside those opportunities, the exceptional challenge of helping to build trust and recognition around our brand.
There’s a lot that can go wrong between booking a holiday and checking into your hotel – our job is to make sure that, when a problem happens, we fix it fast and we fix it first time. For this reason, we work Monday to Sunday (5 days out of 7), so these roles will include regular weekend working and covering a 24/7 emergency call rota, which involves being on-call between the hours of 5pm and 9am.
