Junior Holiday Product Manager - Destination Performance

The impact you’ll have:
Loveholidays has driven exceptional growth in short haul beach package holidays with lots more room for growth in the future. We also offer other types of holidays including city breaks, long haul, lakes and mountains where we have only scratched the surface of demand. As part of the value realisation team, your role is to support the planning and delivery of the strategy that enables us to fully realise the value of our best-in-market dynamic package holiday inventory and retail platform capability across all destinations and holiday types.
Your day-to-day:
- Play a crucial role in the development and execution of a destination led growth plan that aligns with Product Strategy and enables the group to exceed our conversion, margin and repeat rate targets because we will be selling the right product to the right customer at the right time
- By being constantly connected to the most up to date market intelligence, highlight areas where we can improve our programme configuration and positioning and working closely with Pricing, Data Science and Supply teams ensure we continue to be highly competitive and profitable
- Work closely with Supply, Marketing, and Revenue Management to deliver highly relevant campaigns across multiple customer segments and through all holiday seasons that demonstrably improves market share
- Fully realise the value of our inventory through highly evolved programmes that exploit the range of products we have available and the different opportunities they represent.
- Be the champion of understanding competitors by conducting regular benchmarking, monitoring what they are promoting and what differentiated products they are developing. You will need to take these learnings and build them into your Product strategy plan.
- Continuously evaluate destination and holiday types performance through regular deep dives to identify any issues and opportunities, and feed this into the tactical working groups to ensure we continue to exceed our conversion goals.
Your skillset:
- Demonstrate analytical skills, comfortable working with analysts to build dashboards and using data to assist decision making
- Can do attitude and like to get things done
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Passionate about customers and travel, and ability to understand our customer needs
- Not a directly tech role but must be able to communicate with technical product managers effectively
- This role is new so must be self standing and be able to make the role their own
- Experience working with a cross-functional team to collaborate to deliver results
- Can communicate effectively across all management levels including Snr stakeholders
Not necessary but would be desirable to have:
- Understanding of the UK travel market and particularly short haul beach holidays
