Cashflow is vital to any business, so keeping debt to a minimum is a priority. The Balance Collections team plays a central role in achieving that, allowing us to offer our customers a variety of payment options for their holiday.
We are now expanding into international markets and relocating our existing balance collections function to our Hammersmith HQ, to work alongside our growing Customer Services team.
This new team will have the opportunity to manage balance collections across UK and Ireland as well as new international markets – initially Nordics and US but with the potential for further markets to follow. If that sounds exciting, read on to see if you could be a fit.
Your time spent working within accounting or credit control means that you are numerate and work to a high degree of accuracy.
You are a natural negotiator and take pride in the accuracy of your work. You have used a variety of software packages including the Microsoft Office suite of products and are adept at picking up new systems quickly.
Having worked with a variety of different customers (internal and external) you have a polite and succinct telephone manner. You are well organised and have strong attention to detail.
You are familiar with a fast-paced, high-volume workload and are a motivating force within your team and may have knowledge of one or more European languages (plus fluent in English).
You understand that the international nature of our business means a shift-based rota pattern across a 7-day week operation, 7.5 hours per day excluding a 1 hour lunch break.
