The impact you’ll have:
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Director of Brand is a critical subject matter, business & people leadership role, managing a team of 7 and brand + PR budgets of £5-10m & growing.
loveholidays is a fast-growing, high performance business with high ambitions. You will drive our growth & performance, and deliver our ambitions in growing our brand across all points of sale.
You will be responsible & accountable for building awareness, trust & affinity in all PoS & you will work with the design team to bring our brand to life across our owned estate.
Your day-to-day:
Brand Development:
Lead the development and delivery of the brand proposition, strategy and identity
Own our Brand across the company, establishing and keeping a coherent brand across all customer touchpoints
Guide and influence all internal teams (including customer service teams that interact directly with our customers) on how to bring our brand to life for customers
Own and develop our brand guidelines, including proposition, tone of voice and visual identity
Upper Funnel Advertising:
Develop & deliver the loveholidays strategy across all brand channels
Budget owner for all above the line & non-digital marketing spend & lead the development of a comprehensive measurement plan that underpins it
Build alignment among senior leaders around the upper funnel metrics that matter & how to deliver short- and long-term progress against them
External Communications and PR:
Maximise our earned visibility & build our consumer & trade reputation using traditional & new media
Manage incoming press enquiries & minimise the blast radius of customer issues, by leveraging strong media relationships, crafting a strong reactive message & holding our teams to account on improving our internal processes & customer service delivery
Work closely with SEO team to develop outreach & communications solutions that build our SEO authority
Your skillset:
Experience
Proven track record delivering efficient, scalable brand impact, across many markets
Experience working with large customer service organisations to instil a brand vision in the people talking directly to our customers
Experience with both in-house & agency led models in PR, Brand development, Digital & Offline advertising
Proven ability to develop, lead and execute cross-function communications plans and campaigns
Proven experience measuring brand performance & building strong brand business cases
Deep experience in a pure play digital ecommerce business
Experience leading Social & PR marketing teams
Strong track record in leadership & development of early-in-career and high potential team members
Profile

Ability to engage with & influence senior executives and leadership teams to drive change
Desirable (optional)
Experience leading performance marketing, organic or CRM marketing teams
Understanding of / experience in the travel sector
